1. Core Principles
Tao Boy is committed to providing high-quality services and responding responsibly to users' reasonable concerns. The core principles of this Policy are:
- Once digital content is delivered (generated, displayed, or used), it is generally non-refundable unless technical failure occurs;
- Technical failures (such as duplicate charges, successful payment without crediting, blank reports, system crashes causing non-delivery) may be eligible for refund or compensation;
- User subjective dissatisfaction (such as believing metaphysics is inaccurate, disagreeing with AI views, or having different expectations) generally does not constitute refund grounds;
- Google Play's refund policy applies to purchases made through Google Play;
- Mandatory consumer rights granted by applicable local law are not limited by this Policy.

2. Definitions
- Technical failure: service not properly delivered due to platform system errors, service interruptions, duplicate charges, or similar technical reasons (not user subjective dissatisfaction);
- Delivered digital content: AI reports, AI conversations, divination saying interpretations, and other content already generated, displayed, transmitted, or accessible to the user;
- Non-delivery: payment successful or Spirit Stones deducted, but service content has not been generated, transmitted to the user, or is inaccessible to the user;
- Spirit Stone compensation: returned in the form of compensation Spirit Stones, generally replacing cash refunds;
- Service voucher: a discount credential that can be used to offset consumption of specific services.

3. General Rules for Google Play Payments
All paid services on Tao Boy are processed through Google Play. Therefore:
- All payments are subject to Google Play's Terms of Service;
- Google Play's refund policy applies, including the 48-hour refund window (for unused content, as per Google Play policy);
- Disputed refunds may be requested through Google Play's support pages;
- We do not directly process credit card or bank refunds; cash refunds are handled by Google Play;
- If Google Play approves a refund, the corresponding entitlements (Spirit Stones, subscription, report access) may be revoked.

通常不退款的情形:已充值到账的灵石,无论是否已使用,通常不予退款(属于已交付数字内容);用户改变主意、认为价格不合理、不再使用服务等情形;灵石余额不足导致功能无法使用。

4. Spirit Stone Top-Up Refunds
Generally non-refundable: Spirit Stones already credited, whether used or not (constitutes delivered digital content); user change of mind, belief that pricing is unreasonable, or no longer using the service; inability to use features due to insufficient Spirit Stone balance.
May be eligible for refund or compensation: Spirit Stones not credited more than 24 hours after confirmed successful payment; duplicate charge (same purchase charged twice); crediting to incorrect account due to account error (must be reported promptly); other circumstances permitted by Google Play policy.

Spirit Stones consumed for Ask Tongzi Q&A, AI divination interpretation, AI saying interpretation, and similar features are generally not returned after AI content is generated and displayed. The following may be eligible for Spirit Stone compensation (in Spirit Stone form, not cash): system error after feature initiation resulting in no content returned (blank output); severe garbling making content completely unreadable (screenshot evidence required); duplicate deduction for the same operation.
The following generally do not result in Spirit Stone returns: AI response content not meeting expectations; belief that the response is inaccurate or inapplicable; ambiguous question causing response deviation; AI divination result differing from user's view; user dissatisfied after already viewing content.

6. AI Reading Report Refunds
6.1 已交付 AI 报告
Once an AI reading report (Lite, Standard, or Premium) has been generated and displayed to the user, it constitutes delivered digital content and is generally non-refundable, including where: the user considers the report insufficiently accurate; the report does not match the user's expectations; the user changed their mind after reading the report; the user considers some parts of the report inapplicable; the user disagrees with the AI's metaphysics assessment.
6.2 技术失败未交付
The following constitute technical failures and may be eligible for refund or Spirit Stone compensation: charge successful but report completely not generated; report generated as completely blank (no content at all, not content quality dissatisfaction); severe system error causing report to be inaccessible and unable to retry; duplicate charge generating the same report twice. For such cases, Spirit Stone compensation is recommended as the priority for faster resolution; if cash refund is preferred, it may be requested through Google Play.

简体中文:如命师已开始处理或已交付报告,通常不予退款。例外情形:命师无法在承诺时间内完成且用户不同意延期;报告内容明显与订购产品描述不符(非主观不满意);平台系统原因导致用户无法访问已交付报告。

English: If the master has already started or delivered the report, refunds are generally not provided. Exceptions: the master cannot complete within the committed time and the user does not agree to an extension; report content clearly does not match the ordered product description (not subjective dissatisfaction); platform system issues preventing user from accessing an already-delivered report.

English: If a Manual Master Reading is delayed, the platform will notify the user of the expected completion time. If the delay exceeds the committed time and the user does not agree to an extension, the user may cancel the order and request a refund. Delay compensation is assessed and provided by the platform, and may be provided as service vouchers or Spirit Stones.

8. Subscription Cancellation and Refunds
Subscriptions are auto-renewed through Google Play; cancellation method: cancel through the Google Play subscription management page.
- After cancellation, subscription benefits generally continue until the end of the current billing period;
- Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund;
- Refunds must be requested through Google Play and are subject to Google Play's refund policy;
- Accidental subscription purchases (within 48 hours of purchase and subscription benefits not used) may be eligible for refund through Google Play;
- If a subscription was not cancelled before renewal, the renewed amount is generally not refundable.

9. Coupons, Preorders, and Campaign Entitlements
Coupons, service vouchers, and campaign entitlements are provided free by the platform and are generally not refundable or cashable. Preorder entitlements cancelled before the campaign launches are generally fully refunded; if the campaign has launched and entitlements have been used, refunds are generally not provided. If the platform unilaterally significantly reduces committed core preorder entitlements, users may contact customer support to request handling.

11. Unauthorised Transactions and Refund Disputes
If you discover a Google Play payment not authorised by you, please contact Google Play support immediately. We recommend also notifying us at support@taoboy.app to assist with the investigation. If Google Play determines the transaction was unauthorised and approves a refund, the corresponding entitlements will be revoked.

12. Refund Request Process
To apply for a refund or compensation, please follow these steps:
- Confirm the refund reason: whether it constitutes technical failure (not subjective dissatisfaction);
- Gather evidence: Google Play order number, payment screenshot, problem description, relevant timestamps;
- Submit through the following channels:
- In-app customer support (recommended, fastest processing);
- Email to support@taoboy.app;
- Through Google Play support (for cash refunds).
- Await response; processing is generally completed within 3–5 business days.
We recommend submitting requests within 30 days of discovering the issue. Late applications may not be processable, but this does not affect the refund window permitted by Google Play policy.

13. Remedy Priority
In the event of technical failure, the remedy priority is generally:
- Service retry (re-generating the report or redelivering the content);
- Spirit Stone compensation (compensated at equivalent or greater value in Spirit Stones);
- Service voucher compensation;
- Google Play cash refund (requested through Google Play; must meet their policy requirements).
Service retries and Spirit Stone compensation are processed fastest, generally within 1–2 business days. Cash refunds require processing through Google Play and take longer.

- 使用者違反本條款或服務規則導致帳號限制;
- 因使用者裝置問題或網路問題導致的訪問障礙(非平台服務錯誤);
- 活動贈送的免費權益(獎勵靈石、服務券等);
- 超過合理申請期限(通常 30 日)且無法核查的歷史交易。
14. Non-Refundable Cases
The following are generally non-refundable:
- User subjective dissatisfaction with AI content, metaphysics assessments, or Manual Master Reading content;
- User belief that metaphysics results are inaccurate or inapplicable;
- User change of mind or no longer using the service;
- Service properly delivered but not used by the user;
- Result deviation caused by user providing incorrect birth information;
- Account restrictions caused by user violation of these Terms or Service Rules;
- Access difficulties caused by user device or network issues (not platform service errors);
- Free entitlements provided through campaigns (reward Spirit Stones, service vouchers, etc.);
- Historical transactions beyond the reasonable application period (generally 30 days) that cannot be reviewed.

The platform monitors abnormal refund behaviour, including frequent refund requests, immediate refund requests after top-up, and multi-account refund cycling. If refund abuse is detected, the platform reserves the right to restrict account features, reject refund requests, or permanently delete the account.
